Power Breakfast – Oatmeal

This recipe is super easy and needs little to no pre prep. A delicious source of iron and antioxidants.
Serves 2

You will need

  • 1 Apple
  • Some Blueberries
  • Some Raspberries
  • Ghee / Butter
  • Oats 1 cup
  • Jaggery or Sugar
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Full fat milk
  • Almond flakes or Almond Powder

Cooking Time: 5 to 7 mins

  1. Peel one apple and chop it into fine pieces
  2. In a pan heat some ghee or butter ( around 1 table spoon )
  3. Once the ghee has melted add oats and roast them for a few seconds
  4. Add the chopped apple and jaggery/ sugar as per sweetness
  5. cook this mixture in milk
  6. Add cinnamon powder and almonds or almond powder
  7. serve topped with berries
